So why, you ask, have I chosen to disrupt matters by pulling up my "blogger" roots and re-implanting myself over here? Well, the truth is I have been feeling a little scattered lately - I've been spreading myself too thin between two blogs, the book website, a podcast page and my flickr pictures. As some of you know, I have recently undertaken a monumental project involving ridding my life of clutter and unnecessary chaos. Having gone through our home and schedules, I now feel motivated to consolidate my web existence while still focusing on the three things I most love to do:
- write longer essays about family, faith and community and then record them as podcasts for Ancient Faith Radio.
- write shorter posts about our daily adventures, revelations, and trials
- take and share photographs
Here, at this address, is where I will combine these three passions into a single site (be sure to check out the photo albums and my brand new piece, Thrive, in the "Essays" section in the left hand column !). I appreciate with all my heart your past support and hope fervently that you will join me in this new venture!
